If it's something that fits snug when going over head and not involving button attaching and/or whatnot, do what I do. Fold it over once or twice depending on its length and use it as a ear-warming headband! Works super on keeping ball-caps secured on your head as well!
:-D
Auntie Shanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05300073760215969631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6835785024084523237.post-58479822340326253912017-05-14T16:52:41.882-07:002017-05-14T16:52:41.882-07:00It's turned out beautifully, great idea to add...It's turned out beautifully, great idea to add the contrast ends. Now a plan for your ball of special wool... is there enough for fingerless gloves? Or maybe those ear warmer things people wear, like a hat with the top missing? Would it make a clutch bag or purse? Maybe lined or combined with a fabric or leather? I'm sure you'll think of something fabulous! Sometimes my best sewing creations are the result of having to "fudge" something -- add a little strip of fabric to make something longer or camouflage a flaw in some way. Your scarf looks like you planned for it to turn out exactly as it did, which is much better than a Howard Wolowitz dickie! I'm guessing you'll get lots of compliments on your one-of-a-kind creation this winter.Sandra Nachlingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16906884446237370105noreply@blogger.com
