What to photograph on a rainy day, when you don't want to go very far? I dashed out to my garden, and the only thing of interest seemed to be all the raindrops. Once again the squirrels were no where to be seen! I like the kind of abstract look of the rain on my washing line, and in the photo below you can see the branches of the apple tree reflected in the raindrops.
Two absolutely gorgeous shots! So simple, but so beautiful. I fully convinced that it's vitally important to appreciate the beauty in the ordinary, and these demonstrate that fully.
I love both these beautiful pictures. I think Louise is correct; that we must see the beauty in the ordinary. You've elevated a simple clothesline to art.
That's an ingenious idea. Now I'm thinking I don't have a camera problem, I have an idea problem. I need to get more clever with my photo ideas. Here's Mine

ReplyDeleteSimple shots on the surface, but so very well done. What we miss when we go looking for big things.
