I've been knitting a few mermaids, from my Mermaid Flower Fairy Pattern.
This mermaid really reminds me of Cher, although perhaps this is just because I am thinking of the film Mermaids. This has given me the idea of making some new Tiny Icon dolls.
So cute! Your creations are really amazing.
ReplyDeleteAw, so cute! I recently saw Moonstruck on TV and Cher's hair looked exactly like your mermaid's! So the comparison is pretty apt! :D
ReplyDeleteYou make very lovely things!
ReplyDeletethey are just lovely, love the hair :o)
ReplyDeleteI like mermaids. These are precious!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable. I like the Cher comment... too true :)))
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. My mum is an artist and when I was a kid I used to ask her to draw me a new mermaid everyday so I could colour it in. I still think about those mermaids now...!
ReplyDeleteSo nice and the hair is great:)
ReplyDeleteoh my word those are just too adorable!

ReplyDeleteAdorable. And what a clever way to create the neck shaping. Oh, and you're right. That dark-haired one really does look like Cher!
ReplyDeleteSo cute and I love the Cher hair! Aloha, Lori
ReplyDeleteooooh, I love your mermaids!
ReplyDeleteThe mermaids are adorable and the movie Mermaids has a special meaning for me. Which I have to admit, I forgot about until now. I went through a divorce and Sunday's were hard. I was trying to find someone to go to the movie with me, on a Sunday afternoon, and no one was available. A friend said, "go by yourself, you'll probably find you enjoy it." I did. And the movie was Mermaids. It was the first movie I went by myself to see. And I did enjoy it! It felt freeing in a way. Weird and deep...I know....but anyway...LOVE the mermaids.

ReplyDeleteYou mentioned on my blog that you've been looking for bridesmaid's dress patterns for your daughter but the choice was very limited. I've found this site which might be of help. It's American but you should be able to get the patterns in the UK.
