I was delighted to get an email from Anne in Australia, who had seen my caravan keyrings in Vintage Caravan Magazine. (Facebook Page is Here) One of them now holds the keys to her lovely vintage caravan, which was exactly the sort of thing I was hoping for. She sent me some photos too. Isn't it cute. I love the coordinated inside, as well as the silver and wood on the outside.
And here is my own retro girl reading the magazine! You might also notice her new dress, which I am going to write about on a separate post. I have also been scanning the pages of Vintage Caravan Magazine and daydreaming of having my own little home on wheels one day.
A pink polka-dot dress is the perfect thing to wear while reading Vintage Caravan Magazine! It was so nice of the caravan owner to email you and send you pictures. I'm sure she was thrilled to find such a perfect keyring. My Saturday Snapshot post features quilts.
I think my first comment disappeared- sorry if this comes twice. I agree, I think that pink polka dot dress is perfect. And how fun to have your design spread around the world like that.
Your caravan keyrings are wonderful, your designs are all so clever. Retro girl looks lovely in her pink polka dress. What a lovely way to spend some time immersed in a lovely vintage style mag. Ali xx
How cute does she look with her adorable retro dress and matching hair band, looking forward to the post! It was also so kind of Anne to email about your super cool keyrings x
Vintage caravans are so cute, much nicer than modern day ones. I agree that the silver and wood is a great combination. Love the retro dress, the matching hair band is so so cute. It's such a lovely look :)
Congratulations on being published and how lovely for someone to contact you and show you what they've done. The polka dot dress and hair tie are beautiful.
You are very clever with your designs. How cool to have a magazine showcase your work. I love the look of old caravans, as someone else has said already, they do have a much nicer vibe to them than newer ones. Wish the magazine was available in little old NZ, I'd love to read it.
I'm so inspired to embrace the retro caravan "thing" happening now, but neither my husband nor I are super big campers, so the idea fizzles. I'm probably really more attracted to the really cute caravan tie-ins people have been creating like your adorable key rings. (btw, I'm visiting fro the first time through Inspire Us Thursdays)
I love the looks of the old "vintage" trailers. The one I have is 10 years old but lacks the style of the older models. Love her dress and the photos you took.
This looks like a fantastic magazine; I dream of having my own little home on wheels too, preferably as retro as we can go. I've always thought it'd be cool to find an old Airstream to fix up. Love your little caravan keyrings, so cute! Thanks so much for sharing on Inspire Me Wednesday. Featuring you in this week's issue.
Those keychains are adorable! Is the pattern available online, or only in the magazine? Also, I had no idea there was an entire magazine dedicated to this.
The dress and matching headband are also sweet. What fun work you have done! Thank you for sharing it.
Very clever little luggage ties. You are so talented.
