These are just a few nature pictures from a coastal walk in North Devon.
Braunton Burrows - a large area of sand dunes with a really rich variety of plants and animals. |
Oh dear - I shouldn't have started labelling my photos, as I have no idea what this is, but it was very pretty. |
The Common Blue Butterfly - so pretty he should have a better name I think. |

Lovely series of shots...they do how everyday moments in life can be astounding. Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteWhat a great series of photos... I totally agree with you about the naming of your common blue butterfly- he doesn't look common at all to me- perhaps it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt? The plants you featured all have such interesting shapes too, I particularly like whatever it is in that first photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of a lovely area. They're proof that if you pause and look closely, you'll find beauty all around you. Your photo of the path makes me want to go for a long walk.

Wow! These are great shots. I especially love the boats.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. I love the blue butterfly especially, yes it does need a better name to describe how beautiful they are. Thanks for sharing.
