I recently posted some photos of a sunflower and bumblebee in my garden. I forgot that I had intended to put on these photos of the sunflower a bit earlier in the year. So here they are - the prequel. I think they are quite as beautiful as the flower in full bloom.
To Saturday Snapshotters especially please feel free to enter the giveaway on my previous post Tyred of Knitting. I will announce the winner on 5th November.
That is very cool looking...
ReplyDeleteWow! That first photo in particular is gorgeous. The promise of do much golden potential :-)
ReplyDeleteI've never had sunflowers in my yard so I've never seen them at this stage. They're Beautiful! Thanks for sharing them, Ginny. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, they are awesome! Sometimes flowers in the process of "becoming" are better than in full bloom...they are so hopeful. Show such promise.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Great shots!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos. I like the way you captured the fuzzy bits on the edges of the leaves. The overlapping leaves in the blossom's center hint at treasures hidden beneath.
ReplyDeleteHere's the link to my Saturday Snapshots.
Those are amazing! I would never have thought to photo the flower before it bloomed. It is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt is funny but I do love sunflowers (my grandfather had them in his garden) but I have never seen (or noticed) them at this stage. Very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery dynamic creative shots of the sunflower!
ReplyDeleteHappy Day to you,
artmusedog and carol (A Creative Harbor)
