Join your wool onto the edge of your knitting |
Make a stitch next to the first |
Again I used the knitting to space my stitches evenly.
The wool is wound around the back of the needle |
Then pull through |
Repeat, and you have made a lovely edging to your knitting |
It is very simple to go around corners. Have a look at my Red Admiral Butterfly, which uses this stitch. I have also used it on felt on my Rainbow of Owl pattern.
