It's always lovely to see a ladybird, such a simple pleasure.
I never seem to see any ladybugs in FL. They may be here but we never see them.
That is a fun picture!
That is a really good pic - ladybirds are difficult to photograph because they are so small. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/1SXA7W - still on my other blog,

What a lovely pic. Clare x
The other day while on a walk with my critters, a ladybug landed on me. They're pretty common here in Nebraska. I enjoy them.
I always love seeing ladybirds/ladybugs in our yard. How wonderful you caught this one with your camera to enjoy longer.
You have a lovely selection of knitted/crafted pieces. The starfish and sand dollars really caught my eye.
Excellent macro shot ~ love the lady bug ~ carol, xo
Beautiful photo and I love your header too! I used to think ladybugs were adorable - until they started infesting our house every February. Ugh. They must have been dormant in the walls and just before spring would come out around the window frames on the sunny side of the house. Hundreds of them! I would suck them up in the vacuum cleaner hose every day! We haven't had any in a few years (knock wood). I prefer they stay in the garden! :DI've been taking a lot of nature photos with my camera. The flowers won't last much longer and autumn is beautiful here in NY state. Winters last a long, long time!
What an awesome photo you took! The lady bug is so close and clear!I rarely see ladybugs outside, but from time to time they are all over inside our house. They must come in through the vent on the fireplace. We've lived in this house for almost 5 yrs. and have never used the fireplace since we're in Florida, and that's the only place I can think they're coming in at. Good thing I love ladybugs huh?
Ladybugs are always fun! They are pretty girls and make a good theme for decor.
A perfect little lady beetle - we always called them that as kids and believed they brought good luck. I guess it is because it is so rare to see one. Great shot- the orange contrasts so well with the green around it.
Along with Monarch Butterflies, Lady bugs were also scarce in my area.
What an amazing photo:-)
Honest to goodness...this is proof that there is beauty in even the smallest of things. A great message on life, isn't it?!?!?
Lovely shot. I haven't seen one all summer.
LOVE it! Yes, Ladybugs to me! Thank you for coming by sharing your creative photography on Weekly Top Shot #100!
Lovely shot! I didn't see any this summer. We'll see if they start showing up on the porch trying to get in as the weather cools down though!
What a gorgeous shot. I love the bright red of the ladybug and the subtle plants in the background. Lovely
Not ready for fall, but I'm getting there....love your summer shot♫ My Rurality: http://lauriekazmierczak.com/648/
