Red-Eyed Tree Frog

I thought you might like to see this cute and really realistic tree frog, made by jenniferb3 on ravelry from my Frog pattern. She had used the perfect eyes and colours, and added some embroidery, to make a brilliantly realistic red-eyed tree frog.

Here is a photograph of a real red-eyed tree frog, just so you can see how realistic he is. I love to see what folk have made from my patterns, especially when they are as clever as this.

  3. Hi! It was me who knitted the tree frog =). I am glad everyone likes it =). It was pretty easy to do with the pattern as written. My little boy just loves red-eyed tree frogs! He is happy his frog is now famous, lol. I updated my ravelry with the yarn and eyes used. I noticed that, unfortunately, the bright orange yarn I used for the feet has been discontinued. I am sure there are other similar colors available elsewhere. I am in the US so of course there may be different options available to UK folks than me.

  6. Isn't it just the best feeling when someone lets you know they have made something using your idea, pattern or design. This is fab, the eyes really do make it!
