Ginx Linx Party August

Thanks again for linking up to the July Ginx Linx Party. Last week I went on a little trip to Amsterdam. Knitting and crochet do seem very popular in The Netherlands, so I was not surprised to see a basket with some knitting in the Airbnb that we staying in. I have just read that the word knitting derives from the Dutch word knutten - to knot.

But I digress, so back to the favourite features from the July party.

Raji of Raji's Craft Hobby has made this cute little watermelon pincushion, and there is a really clear tutorial so you can make your own.

This lovely cushion is on Nephi-Handmade. I love the bobble heart design.

And there are more bobbles and a tutorial on Cozy Woodland Cottage Knits, where Arjaye makes a cute little bag.

Finally I could not resist picking the two dinosaurs on Lalka Crochetka made for her baby nephew.

Remember if you were picked as a feature you can put the "I was featured" button on your blog.

  3. Sorry silly question - how do I add the i was featured button to my blog? Do you have a button for your link up party as places I link up to regularly that I could also add to my blog? πŸ™‚

    1. Not silly at all. I have got the buttons with codes in one of my first parties at https://ginxcraft.blogspot.com/2018/01/ginx-woolly-linx-party-february.html

I think you just copy the code, but I have also put the Ginx Linx pictures at the top of the righthand bar, so you can also use those images.

  5. I am intrigued. Was it a basket of someone else's WIPs? Or a basket full of supplies for you to use?

    1. No it was a basket of the apartment owner's knitting. But it would have been great to have been left some supplies. It was the first time we have booked through Airbnb, and I would definitely do it again.
