Vampire Bat

 

 

One more bat, made from my own Bat Pattern. I decided this time to make a few alterations, and try to make a slightly more realistic vampire bat. 

 

If you look at photos of vampire bats, apart from the brown colour, they have a larger nose, which I would say is a little bit more like a pig's nose. Larger ears as well, so I just made these one stitch wider than in the pattern and didn't fold them, and added some very small white teeth.

Then I had to try to find a suitable spooky part of the garden for his photographs. 

 

My only concern is that he does look a bit like Dobby, or even Yoda! Not really terrifying, and in fact rather cute.
