Fauna and Flora


Some of the plants and animals I photographed over the last week in Brittany.



These birds were doing a lot of pecking along the shoreline. I would love to know what they are. Hubby thinks they may be a type of plover.
 







We saw lizards in the garden nearly every day, but it took quite a lot of sitting still to get this shot.

    What incredible photos! As I looked at each one I thought 'this is my favourite', the there was another to view, and I thought 'no, this this is the nicest'... hard to choose, bt I did like the sea holly, and the birds - they certainly look like some kind of plover, but I'm no expert.     wonderful shots. I believe that the birds are plovers. We have quite a few of them on our beaches. You've captured them brilliantly

    I would say the birds are definitely plovers of some kind although there is so much variety around the world. What great scenery and such variety.
